  1. Oksana, who is now 5'4" tall and weighs
  2. just 95 pounds, was chubby when she
  3. was 3┬╜ years old. Her mother and
  4. grandfather wanted to sign her up for
  5. ballet school to help her lose that baby
  6. fat, but the school wouldnΓÇÖt take any
  7. students under the age of 7. So 
  8. OksanaΓÇÖs grandfather bought her a pair
  9. of skates and suggested she try figure
  10. skating, a popular sport in Ukraine.
  11. Oksana had fun skating and even won
  12. some local skating competitions. When
  13. she was old enough, she took ballet
  14. lessons, which helped her become the
  15. graceful skater she is today.
